Spira Final Fantasy Wikipedia

A list of the Al Bhed passwords and search coordinates for exploring Spira from the airship destination list. A journey undertaken by a summoner and his guards, his brother and a lady Black Mage, in a bid to defeat “Sin”. Along the way, conflict divides the summoner and his brother and the summoner’s resolve is tested. I’m Miranda Lemons, here to share with you my love of turn-based JRPGs with friendship-based storylines and Jungian themes that help us become closer to each other and to ourselves.

Although technically a splinter group of Yevon, the New Yevon party was not a religion, but a simple philosophy, their motto and position on Spira’s advancement being “One thing at a time”. The Crusaders (formerly known as the “Crimson Blades”) were a loosely-knit army that existed to protect towns and temples from Sin. The group was founded by Lord Mi’ihen, who made a journey to Bevelle 800 years ago to calm the maesters’ fears that he was assembling an army to conquer them.

Option 1: Win the Game

Spira is the fictional world of the Square role-playing video games Final Fantasy X and X-2. Spira is the first Final Fantasy world to feature consistent, all-encompassing spiritual and mythological influences within the planet’s civilizations and their inhabitants’ daily lives. There are several distinguishable themes present in Final Fantasy X series. One of them is of a young woman thrusting herself into a savior-type role where she keeps on saving the world with each story despite her reluctance and wish to live her own, peaceful life. Another theme prominent in the series is “connections” where everything that is present in each story is tied together with Farplane being its central point due to its role of an afterlife of sorts where the living can see the dead.

You can visit this temple only once during the main story of the game, thus there is only one occasion. It’s important to discover the secret of the Cloister of Trials during this first and last visit to obtain the secret Aeon later. Besides having the option to choose a destination when speaking to Cid, the player can also choose to input a password. The passwords can be deciphered from various Al Bhed texts found across Spira and, when entered, unlock new locations on the map for the player to explore.

Spirans in general had a positive outlook with the onset of the Eternal Calm. New political groups fought for power, two being the Youth League, the New Yevon Party, while Machine Faction seeks to salvage machina. Yuna ultimately restores peace and saves Spira a second time with multiple endings based on the player’s performance. Bevelle, the spiritual center of the Yevon religion, lies on a thin strip of land slightly north of Macalania. The city is built as a series of layers, with the headquarters of Yevon located at the top.

“Bonds with other people” would classify as a part of the “connections” theme where bonds between different people are explored, most prominently shown with Paine. It allows you to get Kimahri’s Weapon Dragoon Lance which has the Magic Counter and  Evade & Counter abilities. Another option to discover new locations is to choose the Coordinate option when speaking to Cid. This brings up a cursor over the map of Spira, along with a set of coordinates. The player can discover new locations by aligning the cursor with specific coordinates. Several other races are found throughout Spira, including the Guado, the Hypello, and the Ronso races.

Once you open it, the chest will leave a luminous switch in its place. Then turn around and push the pedestal toward the left of the screen, on the platform (screenshot). It marked a few key milestones for the venerable Final Fantasy series. It was the first in the series to move away from static sprites or pre-rendered graphics, presenting the entire game in a real-time 3D environment. It also featured voice acting, adding further to the cinematic experience. It was also the first in the series to spawn a direct sequel, Final ffx Fantasy X-2.

Though the Final Aeon can destroy Sin, it would become a new vessel of Yu Yevon and turned into a new Sin. Final Fantasy X-2 features several changes to the locations of Spira. The Djose Temple, abandoned by a faltering Yevon after X, becomes the headquarters of the Machine Faction; likewise, the Youth League sets up their headquarters at the site of the failed operation on the Mushroom Rock Road. Bevelle remains the capital of the New Yevon faction, although the game introduces a large, technological area hidden beneath the city. Lastly, the death of the Aeons at the end of X causes the Macalania forest and lake to melt, sinking the former Yevon temple and destroying the forest’s life.

North of Guadosalam are the Thunder Plains, which are the site of a never-ending thunderstorm made safe by lightning rods calibrated by the Al Bhed. The Thunder Plains lead into Macalania, a sparkling forest complemented by a frozen lake and a Yevonite temple. You do not need to do any of the side quests or endgame content in order to beat the game. However, completing these side quests will make the final boss encounters much, much easier. You can begin to look towards the end game and side quest content after Tidus and the team escape from the Zanarkand Ruins after defeating Yunalesca and after they have returned to the Highbridge and Bevelle.
